Earlene Marze, a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2024, at the age of 86 in Lufkin, TX. Born on October 2, 1937, in Garrison, TX, Earlene's life was a testament to the power of selflessness and the warmth of a caring heart.
Earlene grew up in the embrace of her loving parents, Clyde and Dolly Frederick, alongside her siblings. She graduated from Nacogdoches High School, where she formed lifelong friendships and laid the foundations for her future. Her twin sister, Maxine Bonner, was her lifelong companion and confidante, sharing in joys and sorrows alike.
In her youth, Earlene met and married the love of her life, Clifton Marze. Together, they built a family rooted in love and mutual respect. Though Clifton, her sons Leslie and Clyde, her parents, and her brothers Robert and Charles Frederick preceded her in death, the legacy they created continues to thrive through their descendants.
Earlene's devotion to her family was unwavering. She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Tullos and her husband Kevin; her son, Bobby Joe Marze; her son, Langson Marze and his wife Margie; her brother, L.C. Frederick and his wife Molly; and her twin sister, Maxine Bonner. The family tree she nurtured with such care now blossoms with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all of whom were touched by her loving spirit.
A woman of profound faith, Earlene lived her beliefs through her actions. She was a pillar of her community, always ready to lend a hand or offer a word of encouragement. Her home was a haven of warmth, where the aroma of her cooking welcomed friends and family alike. Earlene's culinary skills were matched only by her prowess at the card table and her strategic mind in dominos, activities that brought laughter and joy to many gatherings.
Those who knew Earlene will remember her as the embodiment of love and selflessness. Her faith-filled life was a source of inspiration, and her kindness left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Earlene's presence was a comfort, her advice a treasure, and her love a gift that will continue to give long after her passing.
As we bid farewell to Earlene Marze, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a journey completed with grace. Her memory will be cherished, her lessons remembered, and her spirit will continue to guide us. Earlene's story does not end here; it lives on in the hearts of those she loved and in the countless lives she touched with her generosity and compassion.
The Family would like to extend a special Thank You to Castle Pine nursing home and Heart To Heart Hospice for their special care.
