James A. Roberts

Memorial services for James A. Roberts of Lufkin will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 2:00 PM at the Rosevine Cemetery, with Brother Floyd Wright officiating. James was born December 20, 1958, in Center Texas, to Paul and Gloria Roberts, and went to be the lord on November 6, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family, in Lukin, Texas. James was retired from Lufkin Industries and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was a loving father, son, and grandfather that made the most out of every memory. He enjoyed fishing, shooting guns, and every moment he could get with his family. Survivors include his mother, Gloria Roberts of Bronson; wife, Martha Roberts of Lufkin; sons, and daughters-in-law, Paul and Rebecca Roberts and Michael and Whittney Roberts, all of Lufkin; grandchildren Asher, Perry, Holland, Kyler, Khloe, Kylie, and Kynsley. His brother, Rodney Roberts and his wife Tanya Roberts of Lufkin; his sister, Michelle Butler and her husband Kyle Butler of Hemphill; his nephew Jared Ranniger of Shreveport; and special cousin, Christina Ferguson. He was proceeded in death by his father, Paul M. Roberts.
