James Kerry "Bo" Pate Jr.

James Kerry "Bo" Pate, Jr Bo was born November 14, 1970 to James K. Pate, Sr. and Betty (Fitzgerald) Pate in Lufkin, TX. He passed away peacefully at Hospice in the Pines in patient facility on October 25, 2020. Bo is survived by his parents, James and Betty Pate; children Katie, Robert and Delilah Pate; sister and brother-in-law, Regina and Sammy Hartnett; Nieces, Ashley Flowers and husband BJ, Krista Hartnett and fiancé Bryan Luckey and Chelsey Hartnett; Great nephew , Hunter Flowers along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Bo enjoyed life and lived it to his fullest until he became ill. He loved to hog hunt, fish, cook, watch movies, play 42 and numerous games especially Trivia Pursuit which he would always win. Some of his favorite things to do were hang out at the river, spend time with friends and listen to music. He was an avid Longhorns fan. Bo was preceded in death by his grandmother Minnie Wells, and grandparents Eugene and Hazel Fitzgerald. Pallbearers will be Sammy Hartnett, Joe Cuellar, Kevin Johnson, Delane Moore, Coby Hughes and Jonathan Steel. Honorary pallbearers are BJ Flowers, Bryan Luckey and Cade Cox Services for James "Bo" Pate will be held at McNutt Funeral Home in Lufkin on October 29, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at the Lower Chireno Cemetery in Chireno, TX. Visitation will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
