Joe Carl Halsell

Joe Carl was born on April 29, 1958 to Joe Nathan Halsell (deceased) and Betty Neil Halsell. On Monday May 16, 2022 Joe Carl Halsell passed away from natural causes in his home at the age of 64. He was the oldest of three siblings Nelda Porter, Ellen Bonham, and Edward Halsell. He was married to Sharon Kay Halsell for 44 years. They had four children. Joshua Halsell, Mindy (Halsell) Lankford, April Halsell, and Jeremiah Halsell. He also had 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way. Joe Carl was a real life hero to many people. He saved many lives on and off duty. He was a veteran and a retired fireman of 22 years. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping. Joe Carl's favorite place to camp was lake Murval. He loved family gatherings and family reunions. He was devoted to his family and friends and was always there when you needed him.
