Jose Gamboa ,57, went to be with his Heavenly Father in the early morning of January 4, 2021. Jose was born on March 20, 1963 to Maria Magdalena and Manuel Gamboa in Ameca, Zacatecas, Mexico. He was employed at Lufkin Industries for 18 years before finding his passion painting and restoring cars. His love of cars and his dream of opening up his own business became a reality in 1992 when he opened up Gamboa’s Paint & Body Shop in Lufkin, Tx. The oldest of eight children, Jose always worked hard to set a good example for his siblings and wanted to be someone his sons could look up to. He loved to travel, baseball, wrestling, car shows, and going to the movies, but his favorite pastime was spending time with his wife, sons and grandchildren. Family was first and foremost in his life. Jose was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle, brother and friend but his thoughtfulness and kindness were felt by all who knew him. His quiet presence, kind spirit, and big smile will be deeply missed by so many. He was preceded in death by his brothers Andres Gamboa, Gregorio Gamboa, sister, Leticia Gamboa. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Julia Gamboa, his sons Jose Gamboa, Jr, Rocky Gamboa, grandchildren, Christian Angel Gamboa, Isabella Amora Gamboa, Joel Gamboa, Zoey Gamboa, Margarita Elena Gamboa, Annaliz Juliette Gamboa, Kayson Alexander Gamboa, brothers, Armando Gamboa, Ismael Gamboa, sisters, Esthela Gamboa, Juana Padilla, parents, Maria Magdalena Gamboa & Manuel Gamboa. In addition to many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jose Gamboa, 57, fue a estar con su Padre Celestial en la madrugada del 4 de enero de 2021. José nació el 20 de Marzo de 1963 de María Magdalena y Manuel Gamboa en Ameca, Zacatecas, México. Estuvo 18 años trabajando en Lufkin Industries antes de encontrar su pasión pintando y restaurando coches. Su amor por los coches y su sueño de abrir su propio negocio se hizo realidad en 1992 cuando abrió Gamboa’s Paint & Body Shop en Lufkin, Tx. El mayor de ocho hijos, José siempre trabajó duro para dar un buen ejemplo para sus hermanos y quería ser alguien a quien sus hijos pudieran admirar. Le encantaba viajar, el béisbol, la lucha libre, los espectáculos de coches y ir al cine, pero su pasatiempo favorito era pasar tiempo con su esposa, hijos y nietos. Es sobrevivido por su amorosa esposa de 38 años, Julia Gamboa, sus hijos José Gamboa, Jr, Rocky Gamboa, nietos, Christian Angel Gamboa, Isabella Amora Gamboa, Joel Gamboa, Zoey Gamboa, Margarita Elena Gamboa, Annaliz Juliette Gamboa, Kayson Alexander Gamboa, hermanos, Ismael Gamboa, Armando Gamboa, hermanas, Esthela Gamboa, JuanaPadilla, padres, Maria Magdalena Gamboa y Manuel Gamboa, además de muchas sobrinas, sobrinos y primos.
