Joseph Earl Bergeron,68 of Lufkin, Tx passed away on January 4,2023 at home in Lufkin, Tx. Joseph was born in Orange, Tx to parents Lenics and Laura Lillian Janice Bergeron on June 13,1954. He went to St. Mary's Catholic School until 9th grade. He went on to earn a degree/certificate in mechanics and welding. He worked at Inland Boat Works as a fabricator for couple of years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and doing tinkering projects with his hands.
Joseph is survived by his wife Linda Sue Bergeron of Lufkin, Tx of 23 years. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Dana Bergeron and Jason Oneal of Orange, TX, Cynthia and Elmer Bergeron of Orange, Tx, Kerry Bergeron of Orange, Tx, Wendy Bergeron of Orange, Tx, John and wife Tina Bergeron of Bridge City, TX, Tony (Jack) Bergeron and Nicole Ware of Vidor, TX, Rodney and Tabithia Bergeron of Vinton, LA and Leroy and Latonia Bergeron of Orange, Tx. His cousins Jerry Lee Stout of Beaumont, Tx, Jimmie Wayne Stout of Bridge City, Tx, Lynn Dale and Truman Stout of Amarillo, Tx, Jo-Jo Janice and DTR Josie of Vinton, LA. Visitation will be held at held McNutt Funeral Home on January 13,2023 from 2pm to 5 pm
Funeral services will be held on January 14, 2023, at 10 am at the funeral home with pastor Josh Crawford of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church Officiating with cremation following.
