On October 3rd 2022 Julie Marie (Creasy) Gammons finished her journey here on this earth and was swept up into the arms of Jesus.
She started her journey on May 11, 1968, and it was short, just 54 years here on this Earth, and because of that she has asked to have a final reflection.
First and foremost she wants you to know not to wait until you're dying to find a relationship with Jesus Christ. She learned in the last part of her life how very important her savior really is.
Her cancer was avoidable or at least very treatable, but by the time it was found it was way too advanced to do anything about, this was due to her own personal neglect of her body. Don't neglect yours, you only get one.
Make amends, don't let ego and pride stand in your way of a relationship with anybody that matters to you. Once they are gone it's too late then - you only live with regret. Live life with no regrets.
Say I love you and mean it, laugh a lot, make fun of the things in life that seem too hard to handle, make close personal friends, love passionately. Enjoy the little things and be silly as often as you can.
Julie was lucky to have found this love with her husband James Gammons. He made her laugh, he shared life and time with her, both good and bad. He made her feel important and special. Everyone should have a James in their life, just as important, everyone should be a James to somebody else.
Julie is preceded in death by both of her parents, this helped her find peace in her final days. She is survived by family and friends that loved her dearly and will miss her beyond words.
A celebration of life to be announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers, Julie asks that you pick up the phone and call someone you love and miss. Tell them how you feel, and spend time with them, flowers are meant for the living not the dead.
Remember, life is about the dash, make yours count!
