Born on February 28th, 1965, in Lufkin, Texas, Margaret's life was characterized by deep care for others, a trait that shone through in every aspect of her life. Margaret's dedication to serving others was evident in her professional life as a nurse aide. She poured her heart and soul into her work, providing comfort and care to those in need. Her gentle touch and selfless spirit made her a beacon of light in the healthcare community. Margaret's work was more than a job; it was a testament to her innate desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Beyond her professional pursuits, Margaret was a woman of many interests. Her love for gardening was as deep as the roots of the plants she nurtured. Through reading, she discovered new worlds and ideas, while her cooking brought joy to all who were fortunate to taste her dishes. Margaret found thrill in watching horror movies and peace in western TV shows. But above all, she cherished the moments she spent with her family and loved ones, and she embraced her role as a stay-at-home mom with all her heart. Margaret's legacy continues through her daughters, Amy Johnson Chisenhall, Ashley Edwards, and Tara Edwards. Amy and her husband Carl, of Sealy, Texas, are the proud parents of Dakota Riley, Destiny Nicole, and Cole Nathaniel. Ashley and her husband Ryan Aguilar, of Conroe, Texas, have three children, Adyn Christopher, Alexander Ryan, and Damian Grayson. Margaret's life was further enriched by her sisters, Sandra Cook of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Maria Cook of Lufkin, Texas, and her brothers, Milton Cook, Stanley Cook and Thomas Cook, all three of Lufkin, Texas. Her nieces, Jennifer Hilbert and Rachel Hilbert, also of Lufkin, Texas, held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Thelma Cook. Margaret's life was a testament to the power of love, compassion, and resilience. She faced each day with a spirit that was unyielding, a gentleness that was unwavering, and a selflessness that was unparalleled. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of love, courage, and dedication. Her life serves as a reminder that the true measure of a person's life is not the number of years they live, but the impact they have on the lives of others.
