Melvin Curtis Henson

Melvin Curtis Henson, born March 19, 1946, left to be with the Lord on September 15, 2022 with his loving wife, Linda, by his side. Melvin is preceded in death by his father; Willis E. Henson, mother; Elma Lee (Parker) Henson and brother; Jimmy Earl Steagall. He is survived by his wife; Linda Sue (Tullos) Henson, daughter; Melinda Haley and husband Randy, son; Paul Henson and wife Doreen, brothers; Marvin (Leon) Henson and wife Wilma, J.W Henson and wife Glenda, and Robert Henson as well as several nephews and a niece. Grandchildren include Karina (Fiscal)Hennessey, Jordan Fiscal, Alyssa Henson, Madison Henson, and Devyn (DJ) Henson. Melvin was also particularly proud of his great-grandchildren Edith Hennessey, Theodore Hennessey and Althea Carruthers. Melvin also leaves behind numerous friends, some of them lifelong friends and others that he made along the way. Melvin loved the outdoor life and was an avid hunter, fisherman, chef and photographer. He always lived life to the fullest and was the most loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Melvin has requested no memorial services and the family will honor his wishes.
