Pauline Belford Kehlenbeck, a cherished soul known affectionately as Mom and Gramma, was called home to be with the Lord on the 7th of August, 2024, at the ripe age of 86. Born on May 9th, 1938, in Middletown, New York, she was a beacon of light to all who had the privilege of crossing her path. Pauline passed away peacefully of natural causes in the warm embrace of Waller, Texas, surrounded by the love of her family. Pauline's journey on this earth was marked by the love she shared and the lives she touched. She was the heart of her family, a loving mother, grandmother, and a friend to many. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Kehlenbeck, and her dear parents, Richard Henry Belford and Olive Alpharetta Page. Her spirit lives on through her children: Robert (and wife Tina), Aron, Ronald (and wife Carla), Seth (and wife Tina), Pauline Bachorski (and husband Richard), Gwendolyn Seweryniak (and husband Randal), and Suzanne Bailey (and husband Homer). Her legacy extends to her adored grandchildren: Candy, Bobbie Jo, John, Kathleen, Travis, Olivia, Melissa, Randy John, Ezekiel, Aron, Tyler, MacKenzie, Kimberly, Sarah, Leslie, Robert, Kelsey, Seth, Kyle, Kaylee, Samantha, James, and William. Pauline was a woman of faith and conviction, completing her education with a high school degree and embarking on a path of service. She served her community with a warm smile as a cafeteria lunch lady, ensuring that every child had a nourishing meal and a kind word to brighten their day. Her dedication extended beyond the walls of the school as she volunteered with the local fire department, standing as a pillar of strength and support in times of need. Pauline was also a devout member of New Hope Methodist Church at Fieldstore, where her presence was a testament to her unwavering faith in the Lord. Her interests were as varied as they were heartwarming. Pauline was an avid collector of all things nature, finding joy in the simplicity of the earth's beauty. The beach was her sanctuary, a place where she felt the Creator's presence and the warmth of the sun's embrace. She also found great pleasure in volunteering her time to causes close to her heart and in baking with her grandchildren, instilling in them the sweetness of life's simple pleasures. Pauline was the embodiment of love, friendliness, and generosity. Her warm spirit was a comfort to all, and her open arms were a refuge in times of sorrow and joy. As we gather to celebrate her life, we remember the words of the great Billy Graham: "My home is in Heaven. I'm just traveling through this world." Pauline lived by this truth, her heart always fixed on the promise of eternal life. Today, as we bid farewell to a woman of great virtue, we do so with the assurance that she is now at peace in her eternal home. Pauline Belford Kehlenbeck's life was a testament to the power of love, the strength of faith, and the beauty of a life well-lived. Her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those she loved, and her legacy will continue to inspire generations to come. Let us rejoice in the knowledge that Pauline has been welcomed into the Lord's loving embrace, and although we will miss her dearly, we take comfort in the blessed assurance that we will one day be reunited in glory. Until then, we will cherish the memories, live by her example, and hold fast to the faith that guided her every step. Rest in peace, dear Pauline, until we meet again.
