Ronnie Lee Anderson was born April 22, 1962 and passed away on July 10, 2024. He was the son of the late Letrace Faye Davis Anderson and Tim D. Anderson. He was a very caring and loving person, and he loved his family endlessly. He was a leader of the pack so to speak. He was the first vehicle in the line of cars when we went on trips to West Texas for family reunions and visits. He was the leader of mischief for all the kids. He loved to hunt and fish. He spent many days out on the water with his beloved lab, Jake, duck hunting. Jake was truly his child and where he went, Jake went too. He also loved to sit, talk, and drink coffee. When he had said something, you knew it was what he truly thought, or felt because he didn’t sugarcoat things. That was him though, and we wouldn’t have expected any thing less.
He worked for Lufkin industries since he was a junior in high school and went through all of the changes with them. He was working at the downtown location under Lufkin gears when he retired in 2023.
He has survived by his brother David Anderson, and wife, Kathy of Lufkin; sisters Cindie Hartsfield and husband, Marvin of Lufkin; and Kim Reynolds and husband Virgil of Pollock; along with numerous nieces, nephews,, great nieces, great nephews, and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother Larry Anderson.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 13, 13th 2024 at 11 AM. It will be held at life point Church in Lufkin, Texas.
