In loving memory of Andres Macias, who was born on April 13, 1985, in California raised in Inglewood and passed away on March 17, 2025. Andres, affectionately known as "Andymac," was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He touched the lives of many with his welcoming personality, a balanced blend of sternness and kindness that drew people towards him.
For 15 years, Andres dedicated his career to Brookshire Brothers, where he served as an Assistant Manager. Colleagues often described him as exceptional in his role, admired for his rapport with both employees and customers alike. His professional life was a testament to his commitment to excellence and the genuine connections he fostered.
Andres took joy in the simple pleasures of life, often making those around him laugh with his dad jokes and bringing warmth to gatherings while grilling for family and friends. He loved gaming with his friends and listening to music wherever he went. His hobbies included watching YouTube videos about woodmaking and ghost stories, pursuits that provided him joy and sparked his creativity.
Family was everything to Andres, and he took immense pride in being a dedicated husband to Julie and a loving father to his children: Ava, Andres, Lorenzo, and Leland. Becoming a dad was his greatest achievement; he treasured every moment spent with his children, often stating that these were the happiest times of his life.
Andres is survived by his loving wife, Julie; his children, Ava, Andres, Lorenzo, and Leland; his mother, Andrea Garcia; his father, Jesus Macias; siblings Isabel Macias, Maria Macias, Margarita Carbajal, Erika De Guzman, Regina Carbajal, Alberto Carbajal, Jesse Macias, and Adrian Macias; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his niece, Reyna Adalyne.
Andres Macias leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and laughter. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and in the cherished memories he created with his family and friends. As we gather to honor his life, may we remember the joyful moments, the laughter, and the unwavering support he so readily provided.
