Barnard Bryant

Bryant was born June 15, 1954 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Verna Crawford and Jim Bryant. He attended Garrett Elementary and graduate of Dunbar High School. He worked as an orderly at a local hospital and nursing home. Later he became a private duty caretaker and sitter. He enjoyed life, family, friends, music and cooking. His personality made him the life of any gathering. One of his favorite saying was “PRETTY MRS BIG SISTER SON.” He will greatly be missed by all who loved and knew him and will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family. Mr. Bryant stated his desires to go home and left this earthly home on January 10, 2019 at CHI St. Luke Baylor in Houston Texas to journey to his heavenly home. He leaves to cherish his memory sisters Carrie S. Bryant Wiley of Missouri City, Tx and Neddie Dudley of Paris, Tx Brothers Billy Bryant (Denise), Special cousin/brother Pastor Vernon Austin (Nell) of Lufkin, TX, Zederick Austin (Jean) of Diboll. Favorite Nephew Chris Bryant of Austin. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special friends Sue Washington, Doris Tims and James Dade. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Carrie S. Bryant and Fabiola Juia Bryant Johnson and favorite aunts Dell Lewis, Juanita Jackson and Walter Mae Austin.
