Betty Jo Price

Betty Jo Price, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2023, in Diboll, Texas. Born on January 10, 1937, in Lufkin, Texas, Betty lived a life full of love, laughter, and kindness, touching the hearts of all who knew her.

Betty's unwavering dedication to her family was evident in the strong bonds she forged with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Ricks, son and daughter in law; Ricky and Sharla White, and son in law; Jimmy Rogers. She is proceeded in death by her late parents; her son, Alvin White; and daugher, Lisa Rogers. Betty was also a loving grandmother to, Megan and Taylor Kovar; Shanda White, Erika and Randy Delacruz, Samantha and Christian Aguinaga, Mia and Luke Martin, Susan and Wayne Rouse, and Brandon and Hope Thain and she took great joy in spending time with her numerous great-grandchildren.

Betty had an appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. She was an avid gardener, and her beautiful yard was a testament to her green thumb and her love for nature.

Throughout her life, Betty was known for her kindness, generosity, and warm spirit. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Betty's faith was an essential part of her life, and she was a devoted member of her church, Pine Grove Missionary Baptist church.

Betty's spirit will live on through the many lives she touched and the countless memories she created with her family and friends. Her love, kindness, and generosity have left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed.
