Boyce Earle Webb Sr.

Boyce Earle Webb Sr. affectionately known as Earle, was called home to the Lord on September 6, 2023. Born on October 21, 1946, in Houston, Texas, Earle was a man of great faith, boundless love, and selfless dedication. His journey on this earth may have ended, but the indelible mark he left on the hearts of those who knew him will continue to shine.

Raised by the late Cecil Webb and Rose Elizabeth Jones, Earle was a true Southern gentleman. He embodied the spirit of the Lone Star State, carrying its strength, resilience, and warmth in his heart. He was a loving father to his children, a devoted husband to his wife, Mary, and a steadfast friend to many. His legacy lives on through his son, Boyce Earle Webb Jr., his devoted daughter-in-law, Lee Ann Webb, his son, Anthony Ray Webb, his cherished daughter-in-law, Anissa Webb, and his grandson, Aron Ray Webb.

Earle was a proud graduate of Houston Baptist University, where he studied Spanish and became ordained minister. The good Lord's teachings guided him through every step of his life, and he served his community with unwavering faith and a compassionate heart. His words of wisdom, delivered with a preacher's passion and a Southern drawl, were a source of comfort and guidance to many.

Earle was a hardworking man. He spent many years as a welder, his strong hands crafting the very backbone of our great state. His work ethic was unparalleled, his dedication unwavering. He was a testament to the power of perseverance and the dignity of labor. His contribution to his community and the impact of his work will not be forgotten.

In his leisure time, Earle had a deep affection for the harmonica. The sweet, soulful tunes he played resonated with the same warmth and depth as his character. He was also a great fan of John Wayne movies, finding solace and inspiration in the stories of courage, honor, and resilience. Earle's interests were a reflection of his character- strong, steady, and deeply connected to his roots.

But above all, Earle was a man of faith. His belief in the Lord was unwavering, his devotion unshakable. He served his church and his community with a quiet strength and a deep, abiding love. He was a beacon of hope, a source of comfort, and a pillar of strength for those around him. His faith was his compass, guiding him through life's storms and leading him to the shores of peace.
