Carolyn Jackson

Carolyn Tanton Russ Jackson age 75, passed away peacefully at home in Nacogdoches TX. on July 31, 2021. Carolyn was born in Silsbee TX. to LC Tanton and Lothell Rosier Tanton on August 2, 1945. She graduated from Silsbee High School in 1964. Carolyn was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her love for adventure, walking the beaches and searching for sea shells. Going to Disney and dancing with Baloo. She passed that love on to her family. Caroyln is survived by her brother Wiley (Terry) Tanton and his wife Linda Tanton. Two daughters Stephanie Russ Norman, her husband Rev. William Norman and Kimberly Russ Bonura, her husband Mike Bonura. Her Grandchildren Amanda Norman Buford, her husband Royce. Melisa Norman Riley, her husband Bryan. William Norman and Kaitlyn Norman Drew, her husband Matthew. Her 6 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Jackson JR. her parents and her brother Lester Tanton. Burial: Felps Cemetery, Thicket TX…pending.
