Cruz Guerrero Euresti was born May 03, 1951 in Mier Y Noriega, NL Mexico to Manuel and Elvira (Guerrero) Euresti, He was called home by our Lord on March 29, 2021. He had very work ethics that started early in life. His first job was selling candy and gum while he was just a young child. Other jobs he had while still young included selling newspapers on the streets of Mexico and working for Coca-Cola. After he graduated from school in Mexico he joined the Mexican military. Around the age of 19, he moved to Lufkin, TX, and worked at Texas Foundries for 39 years. Shortly after he retired he moved to Eagle Pass, TX to be close to his family. He said he enjoyed it there because he felt at home. He also enjoyed his freedom there. He took pleasure in walking around the city, mingling with the people, and crossing the border. Cruz enjoyed playing poker, barbequing, fishing, camping, and most of all he enjoyed being around his family. His commitment to his parents and children was like no other. He made sure he did his best to take care of them every moment he could. Cruz is preceded in death by his former wife Dorothy Marie Sims, daughter Ruth Carmel Sims, his parents Manuel and Elvia (Guerrero) Euresti, sister Basilica Hernandez, and brothers Jose Manuel Euresti and Refujio Euresti. Cruz Guerrero Euresti is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Guerrero; daughter Esther Hernandez husband Eduardo and their children Jonathan Guerrero wife Emma their children Eli and Selena, daughter Veronica Zapata husband Jose, and son Gerardo Hernandez; daughter Maria Euresti husband David and their children Enrique Euresti, Angelica Martinez her daughter Rosalyn, and son Julian Martinez; and his siblings Maria Estella Segura, Rosa Euresti, Jose Luis Euresti, Jesus Euresti Sr., and several loved relatives and friends. Blessed are those who know him and his cheerfulness, hard work, and generosity. He was loved and will truly be missed by many.
