Curtis Weldon Oliver

Curtis Weldon Oliver was born July 10, 1947, in Lufkin, Texas, to Harvey and Nina Mae Oliver. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 23, 2021. Mr. Oliver was a proud and devoted father and grandfather. From sports and academics to dance and various other activities, he was always supportive and there for his family. In his younger days, he worked at Woody’s Toys but was self-employed for most of his life, working also as a part-time auctioneer and Pastor. For the past 2.5 years, he pastored at Eden Community Church in Nacogdoches, Texas. Curtis absolutely loved his church and the Lord. Mr. Oliver is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kathy Oliver; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle & Brad Williamson; daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne & Josh Dew; grandchildren, Landen Dew, Jace Dew, Luke Williamson, and Olivia Williamson; along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Nina Oliver; brothers, Glenn & Dale Oliver; and infant sister, Nancy Oliver.
