David Lynn Fredregill

October 21, 1966 — July 30, 2024

David Lynn Fredregill was born on October 21, 1966 to Franklin “Bill” Fredregill and Susan Elizabeth Sharp. He held various jobs as a diesel mechanic, a fork-lift driver and chemical plant worker. He was super talented and always gave his all. Country to the core, David loved the outdoors. There wasn’t a hole that wasn’t fished or a stretch of woods that wasn’t hunted. He always said all he ever needed was a tent, a gun and a fishing pole. His “Fancy Clothes” were his best Camo pants and shirts!! In his younger days, he could tear up a dance floor with his two-stepping! David was a Momma’s Boy and they were the best of friends. They lived together, fished together, went everywhere together and even fussed and bickered together!! They were together til the very end. As much as he loved his country roots, he had two even greater loves: his daughters, Kennedi Riley-Marie and Cheyenne Remmington. He was loving and devoted dad to his girls. Although his illness kept him in and out of the hospital, he was able to hold on long enough to meet his first grandchild, Korbin Walker-David Bragg. He was such a proud Granddaddy. On July 30, 2024 David passed away peacefully surrounded by his mother Susan, and the two people who cared for him during his treatments and at home: his Daughter Kennedi and his Sister Delitha. David was preceded in death by his father Franklin “Bill” Fredregill, his Sister Donna Vann, his Uncle Mack “Mackey” Mitchell Fredregill and his Aunt Mary Jane Sharp. He is survived by his two daughters: Kennedi Fredregill and Cheyenne Bragg; his mother, Susan Sharp; his grandson Korbin Bragg; brother Donald Fredregill; sisters: Dedra, Demetra and Delitha as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, extended family and loved ones. The family would like to express a very heartfelt Thank You to Harbor Hospice for their care and compassion during this time.

Gone Hunting Remember the smiles and not the tears For all the hunts throughout the years Don't dwell on things left unsaid Cherish the memories we had instead Like the crisp mornings and dusky nights A trophy buck within our sights Deer camp with friends and family These moments meant so much to me When peace from nature all around Was shattered by a sudden sound I always hoped your aim was true And smiled with pride for all of you So don't cry for me because life is done Stalking the fields has just begun Come fall may smiles adorn your face Knowing I've gone hunting... in a better place David Ritter
