DAVID ODELL BAILEY

David Odell Bailey 60, of Point Blank, Texas passed away March 18, 2023 in Spring, Texas. He was born May 9, 1962 in Pasadena, Texas to parents, William Verlan and Betty Vivian Layman Bailey. David graduated from Magnolia High school. Most of his career he was a self-employed carpenter he loved working with his hands he also served as a foreman for Texstar Homes. David loved playing the drums especially the songs of the 70’s. He loved antiques and was an avid collector of clocks. David also loved to go fishing and spending time with his children. David always would say “ What’s up my brother”(If you know, you know!)

David is preceded in death by his father, William Verlan Bailey and mother Betty Vivian Bailey and a sister, Amanda Renee Spradlin.

He is survived by his children, Brooke Bailey and Ben Bailey, sister; Sherrie Lynn Karbowski Meredith, Brother and sister-in-law, William Edward and Melanie Bailey, sister; Stella Nicole “Niki” Alderman, brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Suzie Bailey and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral Services will be Sunday 26, 2:00 PM in the McNutt Funeral Home Chapel those attending are encourage to wear Hawaiian shirts in David’s honor.
