David Wayne Jones

David Wayne Jones was 64 years old when the Lord called him home.  He resided in Huntington, Texas at the time of his passing. He grew up on the Northside of Houston where he worked as a wrecker driver, ambulance driver, oil field offshore, Sunny Land Furniture.  He worked for A-1 Johnny out of Huntington, Texas before he retired with plumbing, painting, and all types of carpenter work in between.   He attended Sam Houston High School and loved speed skating.  He also loved to fish and hunt and loved the mountains of Colorado.  He was a wonderful father who spent his life making sure we had everything we needed.  David leaves behind a loving wife of 19 years, Diane Jones;  three children, daughter,  Dana Jones and husband Glen Alford; daughter, Angela Jones and husband Jon Smith;  son, Christopher Rapoza and wife, Jennifer Rapoza; 8 grandchildren, Matthew Scott and wife April Mixon; William Jones; Zoe Shaver, Lexi Shaver, Cordell Rapoza and wife, Chelsea Rapoza, Chase Savacool, Jadon Rapoza, and Skylar Rapoza (Sky Pie), 2 great-grandchildren; Riley Scott and Dylan Scott; and sister, Debra Fulker (Robin). He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Lillian Frances Sanders; mother, Mary Elizabeth Sanders; father, James Grant Berry/James Gunther Jones; aunt, Martha Sue Sanders; uncle, John Michael Sanders; deceased wife, Donna Lynn Jones; nephew, Clayton Eugene Baker; and ex-sister-in-law, Janelle Jones. May they join together at the pearly gates and forever feel God's, endless love. He will be forever missed and the memories we’ll always treasure
