Deborah Jean Johnson

Deborah Jean Johnson, 66 of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away February 4, 2023. She was born August 22, 1961 in Nacogdoches, Texas to parents, Hoyt and Jesse Lee Waggoner Johnson. Deborah was raised in Nacogdoches County and remained in the area all her life.

Deborah loved to cook, she worked at the Arbor Assisted living for 14 years where she prepared the meals for their residents. Deborah loved to go to Las Vegas loved site seeing and play the slot machines. She was a very headstrong and self-sufficient lady.

She is survived by her adopted daughter, Melissa Jones and husband Wille Jones, grandchildren; Blake Smith, Brittany Whitton, Keystynn Jones, Brantlee Jones, Carson Jones, Micha Hudson, Jr. and all of Nacogdoches. She had a special bond with her grand son Keystynn like no other, she loved him very much. She will be remembered by her family dearly and will make sure that her memory lives on.

Graveside services will be 12:00 Noon Tuesday February 7, 2023, in the Alazan Cemetery located 9508 FM 225 in Nacogdoches, Texas 75964. Graveside Services under the direction of McNutt Funeral Home 400 S First St. Lufkin, Texas 75901.
