Dee A Rice

On Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 9:50 p.m., Dee Anne Rice, a wonderful Wife and Mother of 2 Daughters, passed away at the age of 56 in Lufkin Texas. Dee Rice was actually born Dee Anne Jackson on September 13, 1965 in Dallas Texas, to Retha Light and Jerry Jackson. The second oldest of six, Dee lived in Dallas and Then in Conroe as a child. Later on Dee moved back to Dallas and was married to her first husband Mark and had her first daughter Mindy. A few short years later Dee moved back to Conroe and then married her second husband Larry and had her second daughter Danielle. In 1998 Dee moved back to Dallas and found the love of her life Tim Rice they married in 2001, where they blended their families together with Dee’s two daughters and Tim’s one son. Tim and Dee lived happily married until Dee went home to be with the Lord. Dee was loved by so many, always with a warm bright smile that could light up the whole room. She was very selfless when it came to helping her friends or anyone who was in need of help. “Hostess with the Mostess” is what i used to call her. Her passion in life was having her own antique store, “Victorias Vintage Hidden Treasures”. She loved her dogs more than most people. Dee’s Dogs and her grandchildren were what made her world go round. She was the ultimate definition of beauty all the way thru inside and out. Dee was preceded in death by both her parents Jerry and Retha. Her first husband Mark. She is survived by her husband Tim, and two daughters Mindy and Danielle, stepson Dylan. Four Grandchildren Grayson, Jenny, Jamey JJ, and Morgan, Her Brothers Wesley and Terry, Sisters, Jackie, Valerie, Alana, and Carrie. Numerous Friends and associates. Mommy Dearest until we meet again in heaven always watch over us. You will be missed by so many and the impression you left in so many peoples lives and in their hearts.
