Donna Marie Rice

Donna Marie Rice, born on November 29, 1975, was a beloved daughter, sister, and stepmother whose memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She passed away on February 16, 2025, in Nacogdoches, leaving behind a legacy filled with love and cherished moments.

Growing up, Donna was known for her witty personality and her ability to bring joy to those around her through her constant humor and jokes. She shared a deep love for her family, always finding time to be with them and create lasting memories. Her love for animals showcased her compassionate nature, and she often found solace in their company.

A dedicated member of her community, Donna enjoyed attending church. She embraced life fully, finding happiness in the little things and bringing light to those fortunate enough to know her.

Donna is survived by her father, Billy Ray Bryce Sr., along with her brother Billy Bryce Jr. and his wife Michelle, sister Rosemary Layton and her husband Bill, sister Daphne Rackley and her husband Branden, twin sister Dana Hayes and her partner David, and step-daughter Elizabeth Rice. Additionally, she leaves behind many nieces and nephews, who will remember her fondly and carry her spirit forward.

Donna was preceded in death by her loving mother, Laura Virginia Bryce. Her absence is felt deeply, but her vibrant spirit and the memories shared with her will continue to inspire and uplift those who were lucky enough to share in her life.
