Dwain Lee Stewart

Dwain Lee Stewart, 56, of Nacogdoches was born to Sharon Beth Joiner and Gary G. Stewart on July 9, 1968. He passed away at his home on October 17, 2024, in Appleby, TX.

Dwain was a man of few words but deeply loved his children and family. He spent most of his life roaming the acreage he grew up on, in Appleby, TX, and eventually made his home on 3 acres of that land. He was a man of many trades and could do almost anything he put his mind to. Auto paint and bodywork were his first passion. He went on to open a business in auto paint and bodywork called Stewart Enterprises. As the years went on, he built a successful entrepreneurship as a seller of products on Amazon and EBay. His other passions were playing billiards and going fishing. He was the type of person who would give his shirt off his back to someone and would always be there if you needed him.

He leaves behind his mother and father, Sharon & Gerald Lampin. His biological father, Gary Stewart, son, Casey Lee Stewart, daughter, Chrystine R. Stewart Ceja, and husband Freddie. His pride and joy - granddaughter, Eliana Ceja. Life Partner, Dana Parker, and his grandmother, Dana Joiner. Sisters, Jade Lampin Williams, Naomi Stewart Dixon, Paula Stewart Williams, Theresa Stewart and Tracy Hicks Lobb; brothers, Luke Lampin, Brian Hicks, Chad Hicks, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Cory Gen Stewart, Jamie, and sister, Angel Stewart.

Those who knew Dwain will remember him as a loving, supportive son, father, brother, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed and his legacy will continue to live throughout his family and grandchild.

A memorial service for his family and friends in his honor will be held at Nacogdoches Memorial Chapel (4613 NW Stallings Dr. Nacogdoches, TX 75964) on November 1st at 4 pm.
