Ella Gwenn Weatherly Wilkinson

Ella Gwenn Wilkinson, 80, of Pollok was born on December 28, 1941, to Vernon Glen and Reba (Cook) Wilkinson. She passed away on June 22, 2022, in her home. The family will accept friends and visitors for a time of visitation on Saturday July 2, 2022 from 10:00 am- 12:00 pm in the McNutt Funeral Home Chapel. Private interment will follow in Coldspring Cemetery. Ella was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a 1961 graduate from Garrison High School and furthered her education by attending West Minster Methodist School where she received a degree in business. In 1972, she wed the love of her life, G.W. Wilkinson. Together they shared 42 years of marriage, raised three children, enjoyed their grand (and great grand) children, and made many beautiful memories. Ella was the caregiver of her home and worked tirelessly to serve her family. She enjoyed gardening and was always looking to find a bargain at local garage sales and flea markets. Ella will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Those left to cherish her memory include her children: daughter Melanie Wilkinson, son Jason Wilkinson, and daughter, Janet Kojima; four granddaughters: Reba Murrey and Husband Cody, Kayla Zepeda and Husband Isaic, Shelby Osborn and Jordan Sneed; grandson, Johnathon Sneed; five great-grandchildren: Alyssa Murrey, May Murrey, K.J. Zepeda, Aries Zepeda and Xio Zepeda. Her sisters: Levene Watkins and Tommy Oneta Mire; brother, Ronald Weatherly; as well as numerous other family members and countless friends. Ella was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers: Glenn and Donald Weatherly; her sister, Nelda Mitchell; and great-grandson, Cairo Jordan. The family would like to extend a special thank you to those who prayed, called, and provided support during such a difficult time. Your thoughtfulness did not go un-noticed.
