Frank Richard Howard Sr.

Frank Richard Howard Sr., age 79, passed away at his home in Timpson, Shelby, Texas, and went to be with our Lord and Savior on January 1, 2023.

He was born December 7, 1943, in Fort Stanton, Lincoln, New Mexico, the son of the late Paul Matthew Howard and Emma Elizabeth Howard (Nungesser). On February 24, 1964, he married Bobby Jean Howard (Cherry), whom he met at Rio Grande High School while he was a senior and she was a freshman.

He was a man of faith and was known for his integrity. Not a day passed that Frank didn’t have a project or improvement he was working on for his wife and family. We will forever remember him as a loving husband, father, and friend.

He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Matthew Howard, his mother, Emma Elizabeth Howard (Nungesser), brother James Abram Howard, and his half-sister Jane Austin Switzer (Powell).

He is survived by his wife, Bobby Jean Howard (Cherry), daughter Rebecca Ann Howard (Graff), and her husband, Timothy Graff; his three sons, Paul Matthew Howard, Frank Richard Howard Jr., and Aaron Jacob Howard and his wife Holly Marie Tabor (Howard), and his grandchildren, Regan Gwyneth Howard, John Christian Howard, Krystal Shea Bradley, Zachary Davis Bradley, and his wife Paige Mae Bradley (Langlois), and one great-grandchild, Evangelina Grace Bradley.

Services will be held in Barton, NM.
