Gilbert "Gabby'" August Block Gilbert August Block also affectionately known as "Gabby" was born on April 15, 1981, to parents George and Julia Block in Orange, Texas. Gabby passed away December 28, 2021, in Jasper Memorial Hospital in Jasper, Texas from complications of a motorcycle accident. Gabby was preceded in death by his grandparents Rev. Gilbert and Evelyn Marks and Austin and Audrey Block. Those left to cherish his memories are his parents George and Julia Block; Sister, Chelsea Lowe and her husband J. T. Lowe, Jr.; Daughter, Julia Young and her husband Christian Young and granddaughter, Mary Adiline Worry. A memorial service for Gabby will be held on January 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Brookeland, Texas.
