She was a beloved and adored mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, and friend. Guadalupe’s livelihood was being an extraordinary caregiver and a hard-working fashionista who enjoyed cooking, celebrating holidays, and lending a helping hand to those who needed it. She taught her daughters many valuable life lessons and enjoyed watching them grow and creating families of their own. One of her greatest joys was being around her grandchildren and caring for them which included cooking for them and teaching them her recipes. She ensured that her daughters grew up to have strong faith in our Savior Jesus Christ and persevered through any life obstacles as a family. She was a woman of great faith and encouragement. She had an amazing memory and made everyone she cared about feel important and loved no matter the circumstances. In her downtime she enjoyed watching her favorite Houston teams, as well as shopping and looking for good deals, not only for herself but for those around her, you could always count on Guadalupe to give you a gift for any occasion. She was a very wise woman and loved telling the many stories of her childhood and life experience to others. She was a very fierce woman with a unique sense of humor that would catch you off guard but crack you up at the same time. She was known for sticking up for herself and others, she never backed down from a fight and made sure she remained victorious regardless of what people thought about her.
Guadalupe is preceded in death by her son Adolfo Montoya, parents Micaela and Carlos Fuentes, brother Carlos Fuentes, Sister Emma Santos and Brother-in-law Carlos Santos, and great nephew Adrian Uvina.
