James Andrew Choate

James A "Bubba" Choate, Jr.58 of Nacogdoches, was born on February 6, 1965 in Dayton, Texas. He went to go fishing with Larry on May 18, 2023.

Bubba is preceded in death by his parents, James and Joyce Choate, and his younger brother, Larry Choate.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Choate, daughter, Silver Choate, son, Skyler Choate, stepchildren, Cameron and Julia, older brother, James "Buck" Choate, sister, Vickie Dyess and his grandson, Eli. with several nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.

Bubba loved a good, cold beer and an unsuspecting prank, which he loved to pull quite a lot on those around him. He enjoyed playing with Eli as much as he could. He never shirked his responsibility of caring and providing for his family and children and stepchildren. He was indeed a kid at heart and wasn't embarrassed to play with any of them at any age. He loved teaching them about life, but above all, he loved teaching them about themselves.

All those who knew Bubba will never forget his huge personality and sneaky little giggle when he knew he pulled one over on someone nearby!
