James Rodney Mccoy

James Rodney was born April 25th, 1957 in Tyler, Texas to parents James and Bobbie. James was a roofer and welder by trade, but loved to hunt and fish in his free time. He also loved to spend time with all of his grandkids. James is preceded in death by his first wife Shirley, his parents, his sister Donna, his Uncle Bo, and his special cousin Brenda. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, his sister Sherrian Barnhill and husband Don, sister Kary Allen and husband Paul, his Aunt Hulene, his stepchildren Stacy, Terry, and O’Brian, and his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren that he adored greatly. He is greatly missed also by his childhood friend Billy Payne, special friend Josh Williams and many many friends and family. James belonged to Calvary Temple Church of Mount Enterprise Texas. James Rodney left this world October 13th, 2023 to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in his Eternal home. A celebration of life in memory of James Rodney is being held at his favorite place, his home, in honor of his memory at a later date.
