James Perry Rogers, 71, of Onalaska, Texas, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on January 31, 2025. Born on August 29, 1953, in Dallas, Texas,to Mary Blankenship Rogers and Dee Rogers.

James was a devoted husband to his beloved wife of 36+ years, Judy Rogers. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Frances Rodriguez; his father, Dee Rogers; his sister, Cynthia Haley; and his brother, Billy "Chief" Rodriguez.

 James is survived by his sister Sherry Rodriguez, Temecula, California, his brother Randy Rogers of Mineola Texas, and his  sister, Deanna Monroe of Mineola, Texas.

 James' children: Angela and Cory Wilson of Mineola, Texas; Jean Tanzy and John Collinsworth of Canton, Texas ; James and Sophia Rogers  of Lindale,Texas; and Jonathon Rogers of Onalaska, Texas.

 Grandchildren Kenneth Tanzy II- Stratford, OK, Makayla Tanzy- Van, TX, Alexis Worsham- Tyler, TX, Dominique Worsham­ Canton, TX, Dimitrie Worsham- Forney, TX. Alayna Rogers, Aubryn Rogers- Lindale,TX, Travis Toledo, Olivia Toledo, Lovella Toledo,- all of Mineola,TX

 Great Grandchildren Piper Dorsey, Van, TX, Addison Tanzy, Stratford, OK, Jeremiah Tilley, Tyler,TX. & Vivian Toledo of Mineola Texas

 Beloved Sister and Brother-in-law Teresa and David Walker of Livingston, TX

And many nieces and nephews, as well as a whole host of friends,who all loved him very much.

 As a master machinist for 50+ years, James took great pride in his craft, leaving behind a legacy of skill, dedication, and hard work. His passion for working on cars was more than a hobby-it was a reflection of his meticulous nature and love for creating and fixing things, and always using it to help others.

 James was a man of kindness and sincerity, known for his warm heart, quick wit, and sense of humor. He had a special way of making people laugh, always bringing joy and light heartedness to those around him. Whether at work, in the garage, or among friends and family, James was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all those who knew him and loved him.

 Though he is no longer with us,we find great comfort in knowing that he is at peace in the presence of the Lord and we to will one day be with him. 

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
