Janice Linthicum

Memorial Services for Ms. Janice Stanley Powell Linthicum, 75 of Huntington, Texas will be held February 19, 2022 in celebration of her birthday at Kitchen Cemetery. Ms. Janice was born February 19, 1946 in Houston, Texas to parents Jack Stanley and Dorthy Havard. Janice passed away on January 20, 2022 at a local hospital. For an old country girl coming from a horse and buggy, she grew up to love a hot rod. She loved the lake and fishing and she could out catch most. She was known to kick up some dust on a dance floor. Her true love was being a caretaker. Her heart was always with her family, she loved to care for them and she did everything that she could for them. She was a wonderful Grandma and GiGi. Janice is survived by her daughter, Dwaina Brezel and husband, Carl of Huntington, Texas; son Jack " Dooley" Powell and wife, Shelley of Huntington, Texas; grandchildren: Michael Galloway, Jonathan Galloway, Jace Powell, and Kayla Powell Bronn; great-grandchildren: Jazmyne Galloway, Jenna Galloway, Jordan Galloway Walton, Isabella Powell, Jonathan Galloway, Kara Bronn, Gunner Tubbs, Zylan Galloway, Kinnley Powell, and Jack Powell; sisters: Jackie Hunter and Renae Brashear and husband Marty. She will also bemissed by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
