Jeanna Powell went home to be with the Lord on August 18, 2020. She was born on May 18, 1946 in Jasper, Texas to Johnnie Williams Walker and Novell Womack. She is preceded in death by Father Johnny Walker, Mother Novell Walker, Sister JoNell Brister, Brother Jerry (Jimbo) Lane Walker, Johnny Wayne Walker, Sister Loyris Bryant, Husband James O. Powell Sr., Daughters JoAnna Powell and Juanita Glasgow. Survived by Son James Powell Jr., Donna Little, Daughter Jeanette Jones, David Linthicum II, Rene and James Watson, Grandchildren Samantha Durdin, Brandon Powell, Jamie Hilliard, Sabrina Jones, Sergio Hernandez, Lonit Watkins, Jennifer Thomas, Jesse Kemmey, Jason Hernandez, Elizabeth Powell, Jennifer Valadez, Patricia Hedges, 58 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Joanna dearly loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She spent many hours researching family history. She loved doing crafts and planting flowers.
