Jose Luis Muñiz - Servin

José Luis Muñiz Servín nació el 13 de noviembre de 1969 a padres Timoteo Muñiz Yañes y Ofelia Servín De Muniz en Matamoros, Tamaulipas, México.

Se instaló en Lufkin, Texas en 198? y pasó a tener un hijo, Josué M González en 1993.

José Luis siempre fue conocido por hacer todo lo posible para ayudar a los necesitados, ya fueran amigos o familiares, y por su increíble afinidad por involucrar a todos y cada uno de los que conocía. Estos rasgos solo eran rivalizados por su amor por bailar y cantar junto a sus canciones favoritas.

Falleció el 17 de febrero de 2023 en Lufkin y será extrañado por su hijo Josué, su pareja Aida, sus tres hermanos mayores y seis hermanas, y sus muchas sobrinas y sobrinos junto con cualquiera cuya vida tocó.

Le sobreviven su hijo, Josue M. Gonzales y sus hermanos y hermanas, Arnulfo Martinez, Maria de Jesus Martinez, Juana Martinez, Juan Muñiz, Silveria Muñiz, Francisca Muñiz, Arturo Muñiz, Maria Cristina Muñiz y Ofelia Muñiz

El horario de visita será de 10:00 a.m. Martes 21 de febrero de 2023 en McNutt Funeral Home Chapel. Un Rosario comenzará a las 11:30 A.M. con el diácono Gary Treviño oficiando. Los servicios funerarios seguirán en McNutt Funeral Home Chapel.

Jose Luis Muñiz Servin was born on November 13, 1969 to Timoteo Muñiz Yañes and Ofelia Servin De Muñiz in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

He settled in Lufkin, Texas in 198? and went on to have one son, Josué M Gonzalez in 1993.

Jose Luis was always known for going out of his way to help those in need, be they friends or family, and for his incredible affinity for engaging any and everyone he met. These traits were only rivaled for his love of dancing and singing along to his favorite songs.

He passed away on February 17, 2023 in Lufkin, and will be missed by his son Josué, his partner Aida, his three elder brothers and six sisters, and his many nieces and nephews along with anyone whose life he touched.

Jose is preceded in death by his Father,Timoteo Muñiz and his mother, Ofelia Servin de Muñiz, and a brother, Martin Muñiz

He is survived by his son, Josue M. Gonzales and brothers and sisters, Arnulfo Martinez, Maria de Jesus Martinez, Juana Martinez, Juan Muñiz, Silveria Muñiz, Francisca Muñiz, Arturo Muñiz, Maria Cristina Muñiz and Ofelia Muñiz

Visitation will hours are from 10:00 A.M. Tuesday February 21, 2023 in the McNutt Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary will begin at 11:30 A.M. with Deacon Gary Trevino officiating. Funeral services will follow in the McNutt Funeral Home Chapel.
