Joyce Evelyn Williams

Joyce Evelyn Williams 80, of Lufkin, Texas passed away on August 11, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 19, 1941, to parents Delanah D. Burns and V’Etta Norwood Burns in San Augustine County, Texas. Joyce was a homemaker, she was a lady that was patient, kind, and loving. She always had a wonderful word to say. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and all of her other family and friends. Joyce is preceded in death by her husband; Bill Williams, her parents, her sons; Charles Williams and Vernon Williams, and a grandson; Jeremy McDonald. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law; Evelyn and Don McDonald, of Zavalla, Texas, and Mary and Mark Moreland of Hudson, Texas. A son; Lester Williams of Zavalla, Texas. A brother; D.D. Burns of Zavalla, Texas. Grandchildren; Viry Lowery and husband William, Adrian Moreland and Brooklyn Combs, Eddie Williams and Starla Presley, Clay Williams, Cody McDonald, Brianna Williams, Josh Williams, and Brandy Gulley. Great grandchildren; Montana, Skyler, Chloe, Zoe, Rhyder, Samuel, and Lainey. Pall Bearers will be Adrian Morland, Skyler Lowery, Cody McDonald, Clay Williams, Brooklyn Combs, and Henry Williams. Honorary Pall Bearers: Don McDonald, Mark Moreland, William Lowery, and Rhyder Moreland. A visitation will be 6:30 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Friday, August 12, 2022, at New Life: Church on the Rock located at 4333 West State Highway 103 Lufkin Texas 75904. Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 13, 2022, also at New Life Church on the Rock with Pastor Tony Holder officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Broaddus, Texas Funeral services under the direction of McNutt Funeral Home 400 South First St. Lufkin, Texas 75901.
