Kenneth Myrl Wheeler, beloved father and friend, passed away on March 15, 2025, exactly three years to the day after the loss of his cherished wife, Gayle Wheeler, who predeceased him on March 15, 2022. Born in Nacogdoches, Texas, and raised in Woden, Texas, Kenneth lived a life full of love, service, and dedication to family.
A proud veteran of the United States Army, Kenneth exemplified the very best of service to his country. He was a source of strength and inspiration for his only child, Malisha Ann Wheeler, his beloved baby girl, and enjoyed the unwavering support and companionship of his brothers, Charles and Sue Wheeler, JB Wheeler, and Billy Ray Wheeler.
Kenneth's life was enriched by the close friendships he forged over the years. He is lovingly remembered by many, including Charlei and John Warner, and Brady and Jordana Wheeler and Malana Wheeler who were a significant part of his life.
He was predeceased by his father, Dalton Myrl Wheeler, and his mother, Martha Henderson, both of Nacogdoches, Texas.
In honor of Kenneth's memory, the family requests that in lieu of a formal service, friends and loved ones send plants or flowers to 3611 Raguet Street, Nacogdoches, Texas. These will be lovingly used in a garden dedication to celebrate his life. A private celebration of life will be held for close family in Cushing, Texas.
Kenneth Myrl Wheeler will be deeply missed, but his spirit and legacy of love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and adored him.
