Larry Lynn Arter, age 70, formerly of Livingston, TX passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Born, Larry Lynn Arter, April 8, 1951 in Enid, Ok. He was a graduate of Mountain Home High School, Mountain Home, Idaho in 1970. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served for several years before separating. Larry decided to start a career in the medical field. He became a nursing assistance and later chose to work as a surgical technician. Larry retired in 2013 as a certified surgical technican, to spend the rest of his life with his late wife Corina, his family and friends. Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, and handi work. Larry was someone that everyone learned to love, including the nursing staff that treated him just prior to his death. Larry was someone that once you met him, you would always be part of his life. Due to his outgoing personality and caring heart, he will be sincerely missed by all who knew him. Larry is survived by his mother Bonnie Langford, his daughter Cherece Mendieta and her husband Juan; his son Shawn Arter, his youngest son, Sheldon Arter and his wife, Jennifer; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. Brother Danny Arter, wife Lonnie; Sisters Connie Hughes, husband Paul, and Connie Maass, husband Gary. Our family would like to express our sincere thanks for the wonderful thoughts, love, prayers, care and support given to our family during this season. In lieu of flowers, if desired, friends may make a memorial contribution in Larry's name to the American Legion Post #312, 816 US-59 Loop N, LIvingston, TX.
