Linda Sue Henson

February 3, 1949 — April 18, 2023

Linda Sue (Tullos) Henson was born February 3, 1949 and went home on April 18, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Melvin Henson, her mother, Edith

Evelyn Tullos, Father; Claude Ivy Tullos, brother, Joseph Tullos, and grandson-in-law Eddie

Hennessey. She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Haley and Husband Randy  of Peoria, Illinois                                          son, Paul Henson and wife Doreen of Dunlap, Illinois, granddaughters Karina Hennessy, Alyssa Henson,

Madison Henson, Devyn Henson, as well as grandson Jordan Fiscal. She is also survived by

several brothers and sisters including Bill and Carolyn Tullos, Leon and Pat Tullos, Richard

and Joyce Tullos, Gerald and Susan Tullos, Elnora and Gary Ragsdale, Murielene and Jerry

Hatton, Debra and Ronnie Wood, and Margaret and Bryant Pixley. Linda was also especially,

fond of her great-grandchildren Edie, Theodore "Mr. Man", Althea, and Ramona. She is

also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nephews and nieces.


Linda had a large network of family and friends because she never knew a stranger. She was always

smiling, vibrant, and full of life and a love for everyone that she knew. Linda could often be

seen walking the neighborhood of Shamrock Shores with her special friend who is also

considered family, Deacon Nesbitt. She had many funny stories about her walking

adventures with Deacon. In the past few months, she came to know and love another

special friend, Ed Faulkenberry. The family was so happy for her to have found someone as

special as Ed to share her life with. Linda had so many friends including many of the

members of the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe near Livingston. There is no way to list them all,

with the exception of a few. Mike and Kathy Mills were neighbors who also turned into family.

Linnie Haskin, Bill and Ginger Kollman, Robert and Cookie Laird, and Jovita Smith are also

special to her and her family.


Linda loved working on the flower beds in her yard and taking beautiful pictures of birds, butterflies and flowers that she loved to share with everyone.


There will be a memorial service for Linda at Liberty Springs Methodist Church located at 1280 Carter’s Ferry Road East Milam Texas 75959 Monday April 24th at 6:00 P.M. There will also be a graveside service the following day on Tuesday April 25th at her place of burial in Ace Texas, located at 1252 Tullos Loop Livingston, Texas 77351. The viewing will be at 2:00 P.M. followed by funeral services at 3:00 P.M. The family asks that guests arrive in casual attire.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Shamrock Shores VFD and/or Liberty Springs Methodist Church. There will be a special presentation by some of her friends from

the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas at the graveside service.
