Lloyd Wayne Miller, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on March 9, 2025, in Coldspring, Texas. He was born on August 17, 1955, in Houston, Texas. Lloyd’s journey through life was marked by his hard work, dedication, and a vibrant personality that will always be remembered.

Lloyd was a skilled aluminum roofer and a jack of all trades, though he often described himself as a master of none. Throughout his career, he demonstrated an unparalleled work ethic, pouring his heart into every task he undertook. His wit and charm made him a steadfast presence in the lives of those who knew him; when he liked someone, they certainly knew it, and when he didn’t, that was also unmistakable.

In his leisure time, Lloyd found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He found delight in shopping off Temu and enjoyed immersing himself in the vast world of information that YouTube offered. His curiosity and love for learning shone through in these activities, showcasing a man who never stopped exploring.

Lloyd is survived by his loving family, who will carry his legacy of humor and dedication forward. He is mourned by his daughters, Hope Stevens, Melody Miller, Angela Miller, and ; his sons, Joseph Miller and Christopher Miller; and his daughter-in-love, Valarie Moon. Lloyd was also a proud stepfather to Crystal Pearson, Tammie Pearson . His grandchildren, Brittany Doyle, Michael Hill, Richard Jones, Savanna Wolf, Kyla Miller, Zaden Hawthorne, Rizlin Hawthorne, Kelsey Cornett, Maysen Dixie, Willow Johnson, Kayden Miller, Jaxon Miller, Zoe Miller, and Kaylee Booth,   Brooklynn Booth, and Morgan Dodd,  Christian Booth, Ramon Philyaw, Luke Williams, Josh Dodd, Chase Dodd, and Dyllon Dodd, will cherish the memories and lessons he shared with them. He was also blessed with a great granddaughter, Karleigh Taylor.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Miller, and his son, Lloyd Miller Jr. Their memories will forever remain a part of his story.

As we remember Lloyd Wayne Miller, let us celebrate the love he radiated and the laughter he brought into our lives. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten, leaving behind a legacy woven into the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
