Paul was a proud son of Lufkin, a town he loved and never left. He was the cherished son of the late Frank Easly Alderman and Hilda Mac Duren. He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Gail, and a loving father to his sons, the late William and Daniel, and his surviving son, David.
He was a doting grandfather to Amanda Gorham, Taylor Bienek, Xaniel Alderman, and Dustin Alderman. His great-grandchildren, Bailey Bienek, Rhett Bienek, Amelia Gorham, Alexia Gorham, and Iana Alderman, brought him immense joy. He was also a dear brother to Bobby and Tommy Alderman.
Paul served his country with honor in the U.S. Army 82nd airborne from 1963-1966. He then dedicated 35 years to Louisiana Pacific, and 13 years in maintenance at Woodland Heights Medical Center. His work ethic was unparalleled, and his commitment to his community was unwavering.
In his passing, we remember a man who lived his faith daily, who loved deeply, and who served tirelessly. His life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and dedication. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate his life, knowing that he is now at peace, reunited with his beloved family in the presence of our Lord.
