Peggy Whitmire

Peggy Louise Whitmire, know as “Pacananny” by her grandkids passed on September 6, 2020 in Livingston, Texas. She was born October 6, 1927 in Quapaw, Oklahoma to Max Holden and Lola Bilby. After graduating high school in Alaska she met the love of her life, W.E. (Dub) Whitmire, they married in 1948 and were married for 51 years before Dub passed in 1999. Peggy loved playing the piano, singing and being with family and friends. She loved the outdoors and was always busy with one project or another. She was kind to all and had a zest for life. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband W.E. Whitmire, her sister Betty Skinner, granddaughter, Carmen Hale, and an infant granddaughter, Aeriel Allemang. Peggy is survived by, daughter, Roberta Boseman and husband EJ, daughter, Cassie Mebes and husband Allen, son, Ron Whitmire and wife Sharon, nine grandchildren , and 6 great grandchildren.
