R H Young, Jr.

R.H. "Bubba" Young Jr. was born on March 20, 1950, in Beaumont, Tx. to R.H. Young Sr. and Nina Ruth Cowen. Bubba was called home on January 30, 2022, at his home in Apple Springs, Tx. R.H. graduated from Charles H. Milby High School, Houston, Tx. in 1969. R.H. went on to serve in the United States Army. Bubba's true passion was driving a truck, which he made a career out of. "Seeing the world through the windshield" as written on his favorite coffee cup. Bubba enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had a love for all things fast including muscle cars, boats, motorcycles, and loved a purdy big truck. Bubba was not one of many words, but always had a "road" story to tell. R.H. is survived by his children; Anguelique Reed of Houston, Perry and Jenifer Young of Apple Springs, Misty Lynn and Jimmy Ray Carr of Kountze, Brandi and Eddie Sayyah Of Crystal Beach, Krystal and Josh Brinson of Shepherd, and his faithful and loving companion Skippy. His grandchildren include Ashley, Caiden, Carlye, Carson, Clayton, Hayden, Greyson, Kaytlynn, and Magen. He is also survived by his sister, Billie Sue Russell, of Jasper County. R.H. is proceeded in death by his parents, R.H. and Nina Young; sisters, Pasty Buuck and Nettie Ruth Griffin; and son-in-law James Reed.
