Richard Lynn Mcgee

Richard Lynn McGee 60, of Center, Texas passed away March 20, 2023 in Houston, Texas. He was born September 9, 1962 in Nederland, Texas to parents, Richard E. and Ernestine Stanfield McGee.

If you knew Ricky, you knew he was a simple country boy! Nothing made him happier than being in a boat fishing, sitting on a bank fishing, or sitting in the quiet of the woods just waiting for the game of the season to walk by... be it deer or squirrel. Ricky liked to tell stories and crack jokes. One of his greatest joys was filling his great nephew's and grandkids heads full of nonsense. In his later years, he found his inner creative side and took great joy in painting, drawing, and putting together models of cars and things. Ricky was a beloved son, father, grand pa, brother, uncle, & friend. Ricky will be loved & missed.

Richard is preceded in death by his father, Richard E. McGee and his mother, Ernestine Stanfield McGee.

He is survived by his children, Russell McGee and Elyssa Roberts, sister and brother-in-law, Carla and Dale Hite, stepmother, Ladeva Crawford, step-son, Bobby Gaskin and wife Tricia, special grandson, Lance Gaskin, nephew, Wesley Faubion and fiancé Busahnna, nieces, Jessica McKinney and husband John, Sarah Gibbs and husband Justin, special nephews, Kayden Faubion and Jacob Faubion, numerous other family members and a host of friends.
