Robert (Bob) Brown, born April 30th, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York to parents Mr. and Mrs. Brown. In 1960, Robert moved to Berkley, California where he attended UC Berkley. He was very studious and helped teach the class/classmates whenever needed. He graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. He was known as Berkley Bob (BB) around the neighborhood. He was an only child but made great friends who he considered brothers (Cordell, Terry, C.B. and Donald). He worked for Pacific Bell for over 30 years. He loved to travel, collect coins, African Novelties and ancient artifacts. Over the years Bob became a fashion guru. He loved his hats and his alligator shoes and stylish boots. Robert loved his family more than anything. He had the biggest heart and would help anyone in need. He took great joy in seeing his grandchildren and great-grandchildren as he had his own personal names for each one of them. Bob loved the Lord, he dedicated his life to Christ at a young age. He is survived by his children: daughter, Anita Berry Brown (Knox) and son-in-law Anthony Knox, son, Reynard Brown, son, Reginald Brown and daughter, Ramon Brown; grandchildren, Juanita and Gary Adams, Anthony Brown; Great-Grandchildren, Jalen Adams, Journee Adams; host of other grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his lifelong partner Jacqueline Nash. The Knox family would like to thank all family and friends for their support and continued prayers.
