Robert Thomas Marshall born October 09, 1951 in Hobbs, New Mexico passed away peacefully at home in Onalaska, Tx surrounded by family on Friday, September 10th, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents Bill & Clarice Goforth and his brother David Marshall. He is survived by his wife Cheryl Marshall, daughter Rachel and husband DJ Casburn, son Shane and wife Amanda Stoe, son Jeremy Stoe and son Chris Blackwell, daughter in laws Schyler Blackwell and Carey Tucker, grandchildren Jillian, Hunter, Landon, Cade, Charity, Trent, Tyler, Logan, Garrett, Talen and Kennedy, his sister Beverly Clark and husband Jim. Tommy served in the Unites States Army during the Vietnam War as well as multiple other overseas deployments. After his discharge from the armed services Tommy held multiple job titles including roughneck, lead cook & store manager. Tommy was a phenomenal cook, known for putting on a full spread for many occasions. Thanks to his knowledge retained from culinary school he could take recipes and make them his own while maintaining the integrity of the original dish. Tommy was truly a jack of all trades. No job was too big or too small. He often shocked younger coworkers with his strength and endurance. Tommy will be remembered fondly as husband, father, Pappy, Pops, Blue and many other titles from extended friends and family. There will be a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
