Robin Jacques

Robin Jacques was born on September 23, 1953, in Houston, Texas to Lewis Florio and Thelma Wilson. She died on February 8, 2022, in Lufkin, Texas. Robin was a dedicated mother and grandmother. You could always find her in the kitchen cooking up a delicious meal. She was a waitress for most of her life and really enjoyed serving others. Mrs. Jacques is survived by children, Sherry Fickey, Janey Melton, Sidney “Bubba” Jr. Smith and wife, Linda, Josh Melton and wife, Gina; grandchildren, Dustin Fickey and wife, Sabrina, Alicia Fickey, John Stone, Alihia Stone, Neveah Tyler, Hayden Tyler, Ana Villarreal, Hayley Smith, Nikki Gary, Joshua Melton Jr., and Zoey, Corey James, and wife, Bridget; great-grandchildren, Lilah Pivonka, Brantley Pivonka, Denver Grimley, Kaden Fickey, Wyatt Ragan; god sent grandchildren, Megan and Ryan Carnell, Brittany Wentzel, Rodney Cox, Jennifer Ragan, Joshua Dawson, Aaron Burch, and wife Topaz; among many other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by brothers and sisters; Bobby and Beth Carley, Larry and Linda Carley, Owen, and Velma Carley, Carol Carley, Shirley, Fred Marang, Petey Florio, Lori Florio, and Bill and Joan Davis.
