Roy E Tobey Jr. "Scooter"

Roy was called home July 10, 2023. He is survived by his wife Linda Ann Tobey of Hempstead, Daughters: Dianne Michelle Priest of Houston, Tina Marie Stringer and son-in-law Clint Stringer of Hempstead, Verona Elizabeth Parrett of Brenham. Grandkids James Paul Priest IV, Teddy Parker, Garrett Ray Stringer, Alex Tobey; Frankie Burgess and 7 great-grand kids. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; Helen Grace Tobey and Roy Ellsworth Tobey Sr.

Roy was born and raised in Jonesboro Arkansas where he was very active in sports, baseball and basketball. After High school he joined the United States Air Force in 1963. He met his wife Linda Tobey and married in February of 1967. They went on to have 3 daughters and traveling wherever the Air force took them until 1980 where he and his family settled in Texas.
