Scott Jared Mitcheltree

Scott Jared Mitcheltree was born January 16, 1968, and walked peacefully into heaven on September 29, 2024. He is survived by his father Roy Lee Mitcheltree Jr., sisters, Kathy Jost (Jay), Kristen Mitcheltree, Diana Calhoun (Steven), sister-in-law Hanne Mitcheltree, brother Todd Mitcheltree (Joyce), and numerous nieces and nephews whom Scott adored and treated as his own. Scott will be missed for his kind heart and witty sense of humor. He talked often of his childhood and growing up in a large family. Scott had lots of good stories to tell and lived a great life. He was the photographer of the family, always capturing those cherished moments for everyone. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid collector of antiques. Scott was compassionate, giving, and a great friend to many. He is walking now in heaven on golden roads with his mother, Geraldine (Stein) Mitcheltree and his two brothers, Roy Lee Mitcheltree III and Michael Edward Mitcheltree.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at10:30 a.m. at St. Andrews the Apostle Catholic Church in Lufkin, Texas.
