Shirley Ann Davis

Shirley Ann Davis, a long time resident of Huntington, TX, passed away December 2, 2020 at the age of 75. Shirley is survived by her husband of over 40 years James Davis; her children Micheal (Andrea), Daniel (Beverly), Todd(Heather) and William(Shannon) Bosley; her brothers Ronald and Gary Blythe;her nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She is preceded in her passing by her parents, James and Florence Blythe, her brother James Blythe Jr.. Shirley was born in Flint, Michigan, January 12th,1945 to James and Florence Blythe. Shirley graduated high school in Clio, Michigan and soon began a family. She devoted her life to children, as she worked in daycares, preschools, and as a proprietor of her own daycare for many years. She created life long relationships with the families of the children she cared for. It is those relationships, and the relationships with those around her that made her a truly special person. She was a believer in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and attended church as often as she could. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards at get-togethers, and doing arts and crafts with her grandchildren. The family has decided to forgo a formal funeral service and will gather for a life celebration of Shirley at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donations of school supplies to your local public school in Shirley's honor.
